After contacting Lisa, she came by and I let her know that I wanted to purchase a house first and then sell my home in Downers Grove. We walked through my Downers Grove house, and I shared that I was looking for a new home in Lombard, Glen Ellyn, Wheaton, or Downers Grove, along with my target price range.

Lisa immediately started sending me listings that matched my criteria. She sent me a nice split-level home in Glen Ellyn, which happened to have an Open House the following weekend. I went to the Open House and decided I wanted to put in an offer. Lisa and I met to formulate a bidding strategy, which was a tremendous help.

The next day, I worked with a banker and secured a loan. Throughout the process, Lisa kept me informed on everything the seller was saying. Even though my offer wasn’t the highest, the seller asked if we would be willing to be an alternate. The next day, Lisa let us know that the highest bidder had dropped out. It ultimately came down to my offer and one other. The listing agent said I won because she liked working with Lisa.
